INFORMATION ABOUT OUR SERVICES AND FEES
KEY ACCOUNT TERMS AND CHARGES:
Monthly Service Fee: $19
Waive this monthly service fee by meeting one of these requirements:
Maintain a $10,000 minimum 30- or 90-day average monthly ledger
account balance, whichever is greater.
Your monthly service fee can also be waived if you maintain active, open
products in good standing in two or more of the following categories:
a) Small Business Loan or Line of Credit; b) Spark ProDeposit
SM
(only
available with Unlimited Checking); c) Merchant Services account
(including Spark Pay
SM
); d) Spark Business Credit Card. A Spark Pay
account is deemed active with $500 or more in transactions during the
calendar month, not including any voided, refunded or cash transaction(s).
A credit card is deemed active with a balance transfer, cash advance, or
purchase transaction during the calendar month. Limit one product-based
service charge waiver per customer Taxpayer Identification Number.

When you reach 300 transactions* within a statement cycle, each
additional transaction incurs a fee of $0.50.

Use online, mobile, and telephone banking to stay on top of your account.

Make free transfers to your account from most other banks and brokerage firms.

When Your Deposits

Withdrawal and Deposit
Processing Order:
We will post items to your account using the following priority:
Credits that increase your balance (like checks or cash deposits) received by the end of our
business day generally post to your account before everything else.
Debits that decrease your balance (like ATM withdrawals and debit card transactions) will be
divided up into categories of similar types of transactions—and we’ll use the date and time
of your transactions to post to your account when we have them.

SAME BUSINESS DAY
Electronic deposits received (i.e., Direct Deposit or wire transfer).
NEXT BUSINESS DAY
Our general policy is to make your funds available for withdrawal on the first business day after the
day we receive your deposit.
State and local government checks, Cashier’s, Certified or Teller’s Checks and Traveler’s Checks can
be drawn upon the next business day if they are payable to you, and you request that the teller use
a special deposit slip when processing your deposit.
SECOND BUSINESS DAY
In some cases, we may delay your ability to withdraw funds on the FIRST business day. These
delayed funds will generally be available by the SECOND business day after the day of deposit;
however the first $200 will be available on the first business day.
LONGER DELAYS MAY APPLY
Funds you deposit by check may be delayed for a longer period under certain circumstances.
We will notify you if we delay your availability to withdraw funds for any reason, and we will
tell you when funds will be available.
BUSINESS DAY AND CUT OFF TIMES (when deposits are considered received)
A “business day” is every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays.
Deposits made at a branch after 2pm local time will be credited the next business day. Deposits
made at an ATM after 9pm ET/8pm CT will be credited the next business day.

HOW DEPOSITS AND WITHDRAWALS WORK:
Stop Payment: $35 per item
A request by the customer to stop the payment on a specific check that
draws on his or her account.
Deposited Item
Return Fee:
$10 per item
For each item you deposit or cash that is returned unpaid. Example: You
deposit a check from someone who didn’t have enough money in their
account. The amount of the deposit will be subtracted from your balance
and you will be charged the Deposited Item Return Fee.

on a non-U.S. bank.
Legal Process: $100 per order
Capital One can process garnishments, tax levies, or other court administrative
orders against an account, whether or not the funds are actually paid.
MISCELLANEOUS:
Statement Balancing: $20 per hour
Capital One can balance your account for you. There is a $10
minimum charge.
Snapshot Statement:
