Estimated Delivery Dates
The Knox County Board of Commissioners (BOC) meet on the fourth Monday each month to elect notary publics for the
County of Knox. After that meeting, the elected notaries are submitted to the Secretary of State’s office in Nashville for
commissioning. The certificate delivery dates below are an estimation of when you can expect your certificate of commission
to be delivered to the Knox County Clerk’s office. When these arrive at our office, we will email those applicants who
provided an email address to notify them that their certificate has been delivered. By responding to the email, applicants will
have the opportunity to choose an office they wish to have their certificate to be delivered. You may call us on or after these
