tab.
If you do not have a current permit, click on “Registration.” You will need a valid, unique email
address (not shared with anyone else). . Please note that you do not need to register multiple accounts.
If you have an FBST Nebraska account, fill in the login information and click on “Login.”
If you do not remember your username or password, click “Forgot Login.” If you need assistance in
retrieving your username or password, you can also contact technical support for assistance. Please do
not register multiple accounts.
Food Handler Permits
After you have logged in, click “Food Handler” then click “Dashboard.”
All Food Handler (FH) permits cost $20, and the fee must be paid using a VISA, M/C, or Discover
credit or debit card. (Prepaid or gift cards are not accepted.) Payment can be made at the Lincoln-
Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) in the Disease Prevention offices, located at 3131 O
Street, next to Woods Park.
All Food Handler permits are valid for 2 years.
Types of FH Permits and how to obtain them
Serve/Clean Permit (complete unit 1) takes 1.5 to 2 hours.
Prep/Cook Permit (complete units 1 and 2) takes 2 to 3 hours.
Restricted/Shift Manager Permit (complete units 1, 2, and 3) takes 31/2 to 4 hours.
State Alcohol Online Training (RBST)
State Alcohol Training and corresponding State Alcohol Certificate is required for patrons
engaged in the sale or service of alcoholic beverages in The City of Lincoln, NE and within the three-
mile limit. State Alcohol training is encouraged and strongly recommended for patrons engaged in the
sale or service of alcoholic beverages anywhere within in the State of Nebraska.
The training is provided by the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission and is offered free of charge.
After you have logged in, click “State Alcohol” tab then click “Dashboard.”
A State Alcohol Permit is valid for 3 years.
City Alcohol Training and corresponding City of Lincoln Alcohol (LNK) Permit is required for
p
atrons engaged in the sale or service of alcoholic beverages in The City of Lincoln, NE and within the
three-mile limit.
After you have logged in, click the “City Alcohol” tab then click “Dashboard.”
City of Lincoln Alcohol (LNK) Permit costs $15, and the fee must be paid using a VISA, M/C, or
Discover credit or debit card. Prepaid or gift cards are not accepted.
Payment can be made either online using the FBST Nebraska Food Handler Dashboard OR at the
Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) in the Disease Prevention offices, located at
3131 O Street, next to Woods Park.
A City of Lincoln Alcohol (LNK) Permit is valid for 3 years.
