pairing. You can now remove the cable to use the controller
in wireless mode or continue using in wired mode per your
preference.
Wired Connection: You can also use the Astra one in
wired mode with a PC, Switch or Android. Simply connect
the Astra one with a USB A to Type C cable with your
device.
Usage with Games that do not o!cially
support Controllers
Some games, especially on android prohibit the use of an
external controller as this may extend an unfair advantage
to users playing with a physical controller.
While we recommend using your Astra One with games
that natively support controllers/ game pads, we understand
that finding alternate mechanisms to beat such artificial
restriction can be fun.
Your Astra One device supports screen emulation mode for
such usage scenarios.
Android: Power on with Power + A button pressed
together. LED 1 flashes and turn solid blue once pairing is
complete.
OS | iPhone | iPad: Power on with Power + Y button
pressed together. LED 2 flashes and turn solid blue once
pairing is complete.
Pairing basics
Your Astra One is capable of pairing with multiple
platforms. The key combination chosen at time of initial
setup determines how your controller is seen by the device
you are trying to pair it with.
After the initial pairing, you can switch the controller on/off
with a long press of the power button. When powered on, it
will re-pair with the last device it was connected to.
You do not need to start your controller in pairing mode
each time. Once the initial pairing is completed, simply use
a long press of the power button to power up or power
down your controller.
Your device will also switch off automatically after
approximately 15 minutes of idle time to preserve battery
charge.
If you wish to change the pairing, please restart the Astra
One in the appropriate pairing mode for your platform.
Please note that newer Android versions (Android 12 and
above) support MFI mode (i.e. iOS mode) as well. In our
testing, this mode of usage was more precise than the
default Android method, especially for macro combinatins.
We recommend you try out the MFI mode with your
Android device as compatibility may vary.
For the initial pairing as well as any subsequent changes:
•
Android: Power on with Power + X button pressed
together. LED 2 flashes and turn solid blue once pairing is
complete.
MFI Mode for iOS | iPhone | iPad: Power on with Power
+ B button pressed together. LED 3 flashes and turn solid
blue once pairing is complete.
Macbook/ Mac OS: Same as iOS
In screen emulation mode, you will need to use a 3rd party
screen emulation mapping software to translate the
controller inputs into touchscreen actions. While there are
various such 3rd party applications available on Play Store/
App Store, we have verified and tested the Astra One with
ShootingPlus v3 app .

Please note that macro mappings are best supported in
MFI, Playstation, Switch and PC mode.
If you face issues with macros on an android device, please
try connecting your device in MFI mode. Do note that
older versions of Android and some Android phones will
not support MFI mode
